micro owl madness!!
04:40
Hi everyone!
Happy Friday :) Any plans for the weekend? I have to go into town and pick up more Directions hair dye as I'm getting new dreads put in on Tuesday.. YAY! I haven't decided what colours I'm doing yet though. I should probably make up my mind!
I'm having so much fun creating these micro owls. The pictures really don't show just how teeny they are either. They are SO SMALL! I love miniature anything, really, and beads are no exception. The picture above shows them in pairs. From left: Horace, Skippy, Disco, Fifi and Domino. They make me giggle :) I have a few more new kooky owls and a micro pair in my lampwork Etsy shop! Have a peek ;)
And here they are in my hand to kind of give you an idea of size. They average about 11-12mm tall! If you know me, you know I usually make big beads so it's always fun to give that a break for awhile and make micro beads. I have sooooo many plans for this new kooky kritters line! Any suggestions on animals you'd like to see kookified? Yes, it's a word.. cause I said so. I have a whole day free on the torch today so it's experiment time :) I LOVE experiment days!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Well, if you don't mind me putting in my opinion...I recommend that you create a bumblebee, butterfly and perhaps a flower to go with a ladybug - a little garden bracelet! You know how I am with themes...Happy Friday to you too! I am meeting my cousins from the frigid North in the Everglades to do some exploring and photography this weekend - can't wait to get away from the Ft. Lauderdale Spring Break scene! And I can't wait to see your hair!
Totally would love to see some kooky cats, dogs and ponies. :) LOVE the owls!
How `bout a cockerel? :o)
